Really fun game, easy to follow instructions and some crazy pranks. Enhanced our Christmas fun family time.
"Prank Wars: Family Edition" is a hilarious and engaging card game that brings lots of laughter to family game nights or extended play scenarios over time. The game is easy to learn, works well for mixed ages, and encourages creativity, individual or teamwork play, and confidence, as players carry out silly real-life pranks. Pros: fun for both kids and adults, great icebreaker, promotes interaction away from screens, and supports 2–8 players. Cons: some pranks require adult supervision, and a few may need household items or extra setup. Important warning: these pranks should only be played within a family or close-friends setting. Some pranks (for example, dropping mayo on someone to look like bird poo) could easily be misunderstood or upsetting to strangers, who may not find it funny. Overall, it’s a great game when played responsibly at home.
A prank game? Honestly, since when do you need a card game to prank your family? If you really need that excuse, your kids have a really boring childhood—pranking is a prerequisite of young life happiness!!!!My kids, a while ago, put transparent sticky tape across my room entrance. I countered with adding salt to their milk! They immediately poured vinegar into my tea when I was not looking, and I declared them winners before this war escalated... But let’s focus on the game, shall we?So How to Play ? Rules are simple : Pick a prize (winner takes all). Set a timeframe (few days to a week). Deal prank cards + wild cards to players. Keep 2 pranks + 1 wild, discard the rest. Complete them secretly on targets. Safety first: no allergens, damage, humiliation—clean up messes (yeah, right, tell this to my kids!). Capture reactions (for viral TikTok videos if you monetize your channel!). Each prank score is based on: difficulty (1-5), execution, and reaction (the more mad the parent, the better—I guess. Works inversely with the child though...). Highest score wins the prize.Remember—if you do not let the kids win—they will curse you with instant whining, shouts, and accusations of unfairness. So, in fact, from a parent's perspective, this is a game of sacrifice...The cards themselves are sturdy, stored neatly in the box, with graded difficulty so kids don’t go overboard. Wild cards let you invent your own chaos, and it spreads fun over days, not one sitting.Just be warned: some pranks need pre-checking (e.g., jumping scares for granny), and at £15.99 it’s way overpriced—below £10 would be fairer.
This is a fun pranking game which is very child friendly with nothing too serious in terms of pranks. I do go along with another reviewer who advised vetting the cards to ensure that remove any that might cause inadvertent stress - there was one that said 'fake an illness and collapse' which might not be the best idea depending on circumstances! The cards and presentation are very high quality and the whole package is good value for money. It's probably best played when there are a few of you gathered together e.g. on a family/friends weekend away or family gathering at home.Fun game.
Fun prank wars activity for families and friends to play. The quality of the box and the cards are good. This can be played over any timeframe that you set and there are multiple different pranks meaning this game has lots of enjoyment to be had and is definitely re-playable. Each prank is super easy to understand and with there being many different pranks included I do feel it is easy to switch to another prank if it isn't suitable. A lot of the cards appear to be based on viral pranks that I have seen online, though this doesn't make them any less fun to do on a family member or a friend. I do think it is a little expensive though for what you are getting.
